-good point, 'oven tek' is better than working in the open. I think the designer of the 'oven tek' had syrenge injection in mind instead of grain-to-grain transfter. Bu,t having said that, it should work for grain-to-grain transfer if you work carefully & quickly. Even though some contaminated air comes in from the sides, air tendency around the top of the jar mostly seems to be upwards(don't know about air turbulance from the ridges where the cap goes though Also, some knewbs might mess up 'oven tek' by transfering debris from the sides of the jar. I read that somone used autoclavable bag party sealed for the master jar. Should take care of some contam. on jar surface. p.s. hepa filter makes life some much easier

Wait...
So if I innoculate Jars using the oven tekk it's bad?
And what about the glove box thing? Would that be a better place overall to do any kind of work requiring a sterile environment?

If that's so, that's odd. My first grow I used the oven tek. No contaminants. Could just be luck.

Newsflash everyone. You can inoculate your jars in your toilet bowl and probably get few contams.

I myself say when your dealing with species psilocybe cubensis, just lysol the fuck outta the room your working in, wash your hands, and don't breath directly on anything. And I'm not sure why anyone is going through the trouble of working in an oven to do inoculations or transferes. The only time I have gotten contams is from not sterylizing long enough, and using a spore seryinge that got contaminated. Other then that.. nada. I also here it's good to let your culture breath
