I very much encourage the reading of any of aldous huxley's book not just the one related to drugs and drug use. often drugs are not the point of his message but drugs are an easy way to progress the human population through it spirtual benifits. By no means is he encouraging the abuse and adiction of phycotropics for that in its very essense would be a regress in society. Drugs in abuse and adiction is just another crutch for a weak mind such as most religion and relationships are. Any how thats enough, try and read his books there all great. peace chris

Chris, I concur that Aldous Huxley has quite a few grand pieces of work. Although I disagree with your statement about psychoactive abuse.. I dont believe that excess use is due to a weak mind.. I could see how their mind set could add to the equation though, for example I personally used ethanol a tad more then I should have because I wasnt in a meaningful relationship with a reciprocating female.. Qu? sera, I know that was a poor excuse and have changed my lifestyle a great deal after becoming good friends with a few smart eccentric girls.
Peace be with you
Sleep? That word sounds familiar, but I've personally never experienced it.

I recommend highly Power vs. Force: The hidden determinants of Human Behavior by Dr. David R. Hawking. Supposedly he has a new one out called Eye of the I I havent read yet. If anyone has post or PM me on how it is. As for drug books, Huxley's Essays and Island (not based around drugs though.) takes the cake for me, but I'd prefer to sink into an 8 hour terence McKenna lecture I downloaded off of Soulseek.
