Most of them are on this link! Ill let you guys know how they are when they dl..
But some of my fav. shows are Cornell 5/8/77, Swing Auditorium 2/26/77 (Great 22 min. Scarlet/Fire), and the Europe '72 compilation release.

You sir, are out of fucking control. Nah just messing, but I do love the Dead and I'm not addicted to them.

cant stand em.have tried listening to multiple sets, albums, etc.i just dont see the appeal.
i also dont understand why hippy type music fans are addicted to different sets of the performers they like.nowhere else in music do you find this.someone enlighten me.
ive just cant bring myself to listen to any jam bands or anything with a similarity to grateful dead.

I think with people that are really into bands like the Dead, they relate the songs with past experiences at a show/festival with friends and loved ones. Their live archives are also all over the place and easily accessible. There are alot of bands that have hardly any live archives and do not tour all that frequently. Hence no real interest in looking for show sets.
As far as not getting why people love different versions of the same song, all I have to say is if you love something, you love it.

exactly. the same song on one show might be slow and soft and the next show it might blow the top of your head off and you always find new versions from a certain show or something that just click into your head and really blow you away

Grateful Dead was the most successful American Touring band of all time. Nuff Said... Every performance varies, different eras... not one show is the same...

Does anyone have a premium mediafire account? i'd rather just download them all at once than doing it one at a time.
