 Astral Projection

This is a topic I stayed away from for a long time. Thought of it
as silly hippy trash or something like that. But since I have gotten
a little bit older this "Astral Projection" has become more and more
interesting to me.
I was wondering if you guys could tell me what kind of experiences
you have had or direct me to a place where I could find solid
information on the subject. Thanks alot!

Astral Projection is a very real phenomena. It's 10x more intense than tripping and lucid dreaming combined. and it blows your entire perception of reality out of the water, realizing that you achieved it without outside help like psychedelics; disproving Terence McKenna's statement that these states can not be achieved without drugs.

I can pretty much astral project at will now. It's awesome.
I don't believe you actually leave your body, though. I'm not sure.

i've definitely had sleep paralysis and done shit in my dreams during and moved around my room, but i've never "gone into other universes" sounds like  talk

With Astral Projection you have to keep in mind that you may end up in other dimensions or places very far away and unlike physical reality and depending on how concious you are of it you may or may not percieve these realities strongly. In other words, YOU CAN TRIP BALLS!!!,
First time I got out I felt myself come out of my body, but I couldn't see the astral world so I floated blind and freaked out, ended up back in my body.
I've had a quite few OBE's, most seem to be to other dimensions as opposed to this dimension. One very real one I was actually horribly depressed at the time it happened, I layed down and was out. I flew somewhat akwardly... more jumping then flying for the first few mins. And I got up in the tree that was outside of my window in "real" life and the sun seemed brighter and more energizing then normal, the air smelled better and everything was more real then real life. Kinda like the feeling you get on a really good trip... that "real" life is fake and your trip is real. I could fly after resting in the tree and went to a abandonded ocean/beach town and flew/floated around there and was at peace. All I remember.
The most intense/real one: I was flying in space and in the distance I saw a planet made completely of ice, I went to it. And it was a carnival world, there were parties and festivals going on all over the planet, the inhabitants were a bunch of tibetan looking people dressed in all white suits. One of them who appeared to be some type of elder flew over to me and handed me a scroll. That's all I remember.
Good book is Mastering Astral Projection, by robert bruce or something like that. I agree with most of his theories on the experience of it too. You also run into a lot of people who say it's dangerous or bad things can happen, bullshit in my opinion you have a equal chance of something bad happen walking down the street as you do astral traveling. Ignore those kind of people.

I remember once I had multiple spherical vision in an OBE.
It's like, imagine a ball. and imagine being able to see out every point of that ball simultaneously. (like 360 vision, but you can also see above and below you)
now take that ball and make 5 or so more copies, and scatter them throughout the room, floating in the air.
that's what my vision was like.

There are many books available on the topic. Astral dynamics is the one I have. It's a pretty complex subject IMO. I seeked out info after a couple of out of body experiences of my own. Both under the influence and not.

If it is possible I think I would have an easier time while say
"triping on mushrooms"
I found a book (one of the links above) that is very informative.
I have also stumbled upon something called the "Akashic Records"
which I guess you can "view" while projecting. Very interesting!
