False, given infinite time, probability of any event in any system is 100%.

Nothing is true or false. It's just....reality.

Nothing is A or B, it's just C.

Yeah that sure clears things up.

I also hate when people do that but for some reason felt the need to do it just once

In all seriousness I agree with this. So I'd also have to say false.

Partly, not primarily. Our existence depends upon the reality principle that states: "All things are compounded and therefore neither existent nor non-existent". :teleport:

Therefore, they exist by distribution of probability.

Any event, I don't know about that.

My ass-cheeks turning into toasters is an event I can't seen having any probability of occuring.

I said any event in any system. Define a system in which your ass-cheeks have the possibility to turn into a toaster, and then the event will have a 100% chance of occuring in that system if given infinite time.

I don't think we share the same meaning about 'probability'.
To me it means 'since it is possible it will be coincidence that determines the outcome'.
What do you mean with 'probability'? Because to me the reality principle expresses itself as the law of cause and effect, not a evolution of coincidences...

The term 'information' is quite ambiguous; can you clarify?

What isn't physical? :strokebeard:

Actually, information is very finite in it's meaning.

Does the possibility exist that given infinite time, only one result would repeat... infinitely? Would that disallow other "events"?

It seems like the problem with trying to define anything as objectively true or false (outside a system of events where it is designed this way ) is that... well truth is just so darn sticky and subjective.

Am I looking at this from the wrong angle?

It seems to me that,

Quote:

Our Existence depends primarily upon probability distribution.

is just as true or false as,

Quote:

Nothing is true or false. It's just....reality.

Can we determine Truth? Is there a universal awareness? Can the universe examine its own whole? I can examine my own with the use of cleverly placed mirror... but all the other wholes out there remain a mystery.

It kind of does seem to me that Existence depends on Who is looking at What, and How. Those three all seem pretty hard to determine with any accuracy, beyond my personal experience.

:strokebeard: ?

It's the same thing.

The Copenhagen interpretation is always an easy escape.
