Making life safe
    #11417488 - 11/09/09 11:24 AM (8 years, 15 days ago)

*Not exact details - no link*

Seems some 150,000 childrens strollers have been recalled due to several people losing their fingertips when collapsing the strollers.

Let's just recall every possible thing that might cause harm if used improperly or stupidly to make life perfectly safe.

To make life perfectly safe there is no need to cover it with soft bouncy insulation foam. Simply cover yourself in it...

I could shoot right through that pussy-ass shit; here's what a real man needs in order to be 99.9% safe:

If using something as directed causes injury, then the manufacturer is at fault. There should be measures made to address the issue.

Once, there was an auto-recall on a certain truck because the holes on the back of the steering wheel were too big. The company sent out hundreds of thousands of plastic balls to wedge in the holes.

People that had long keychains, were getting in accidents because their keychain would lodge inthe hole while the were making a left turn, then jam their steering wheel.

Does that mean, those people were at fault for having long key chains?

True, that was a poor example, but I think Orgone has a good point in making this thread.

I don't think this thread is about instances where the manufacturer of whatever given item is at fault. :undecided:

These people were at fault for wearing long key chains while driving this vehicle, yes.

Do you think the manufacturer of the key chain is at fault?

The stroller manufacturer was just a poor example.

No one was at fault really. Everyone was just doing what they do with no foul intnention. When everyone was within the realm of right and just and atrocities still happen, a new word was born... 'Oversight'.

There needn't necessarily be foul intention in order for fault to be found in whatever given action.

I just accidentally poked myself in the eye with a clothes hangar. Anyone know a good lawyer?
