Songs from your childhood
    #11415802 - 11/09/09 02:29 AM (8 years, 1 month ago)

Pretty simple, post songs that remind you of childhood, or that you grew up listening to because of parents/elders.

Preferably ones that you still like now, and that remind you of being super-young. Age would be cool and insightful too (22).

This song was in the Easy Rider soundtrack. I remember seeing that movie and thinking this was the best song when I was a kid. May be overly psychedelic to the point of absurdity, but I still like it for some reason. Very short though! Most of you probably know it.

Jackson Browne's Late for the Sky.

My parents would play that album when I was really young (until I was about 3 or 4).  When I listened to it 15 years down the road, it was the absolute strangest feeling.  Very nostalgic.  And I could sing along, but I didn't know any of the words... I just remembered the sounds of the syllables.

^^^ that's sick dude.

Of course this band, they were kinda underground though. Obv not even near their best song but as the topic says, reminds me of being young.

I grew up with the Beach Boys,Gene Vincent, hotrods and customs.  It was all 50's and early 60's Hotrod pop hits.

I love them all,and am a gigantic Beach boys fan. Proud of it too, gadammit.

Hahaha me too man! That was the first tape I ever owned.  I had to get my dad to buy it for me.  He did it without blinking an eye.  Thank you for that one.

OMG! Almost started crying, haven't heard that for such a long time. One girl in our class had Nintendo and almost every afternoon we all gathered there to play.  :dancer:

There was so short time for each to play but even watching others playing was something I was waiting whole school day...
