 Junkies crash into my Grandmother's yard

Tonight three guys crashed into a tree in front of my Grandmother's yard. They were all bloody, but no one was killed. The cops found heroin and syringes in the trunk. The guys went to the hospital and the cop said that he was going to the hospital to arrest them before he got off.

I wouldn't touch it. If they hadn't crashed into my Grandmother's tree, which may have blocked them from crashing into the house and possibly killing someone, I might have said "Hey, if you have anything that you don't want the cops to see, throw it over that fence there and I won't say anything."

If they swerved to avoid hitting a squirrel, and they had been drinking a small amount at dinner just a few hours prior -- so they would have smelled of alcohol, but would not have been legally drunk.
That's when I would help 'em

I wouldn't feel sympathy or anger towards them.
This is, of course, making the assumption they crashed because they were on heroin.
Fuck it. They had the potential to hurt a loved one, but didn't. I'm not gonna get involved. Don't drive with shit in your car if you don't wanna get busted.
I don't think they should go to jail because they are drug users. I think they should go to jail because they were a hazard for probably no good reason.
Really this argument could go in a million different directions.
Learyfan I'm glad your grandmother is alright and fuck it. You're not God so let everything else play out. Not your responsibility to do shit.

Yeah, things luckily turned out okay for my family, but if it hadn't been for that sweet tree, tonight might have been a tragedy for my family. So fuck them.
