[stupid] question regarding shroom tea

So I had this random thought, maybe someone with more knowledge on the subject can chime in. I think I saw it in another topic but was never answered. So do you think poisonous mushrooms would still be deadly when made into tea?
Obviously you would never consume any shroom that hasn't been clearly IDed and would never suggest that anyone ever do other wise. That is not why I ask... This is more just out of curiosity haha. As I recently went on my first hunt with a few experienced guides and so learning just how easy it can be to make a mistake got me thinking...Maybe having newbies make tea instead of eating them could prevent deadly poisonings...
Shroom Tea works because the active chemical in mushrooms is water soluble correct? Well that means the poisonous chemical in the deadly mushrooms would have to be water soluble as well then? is it?
...With that said I am gonna down this nice cup o' tea [of IDed shrooms haha]. =P

I think most toxic chemicals are water soluble as well.

If they are water-soluble, then you can extract them from deadly species, but you won't know how much you extract, there could still be a deadly amount in the mushroom itself. This is done to prepare A. muscaria so it isn't so upsetting.

That doesn't necessarily mean that ALL the chemicals will be water soluble. It just so happens to be that Psilocybin is. But a lot of other chemicals have to be converted to a different state to become water soluble.
That's the purpose of different types of extractions..
But... are you asking this see if you can get the toxic chemicals out of a shroom... to eat it?

Which toxic shroom are we wanting to eat?
I -wouldn't- feel that much safer by drinking death cap tea, as opposed to just eating them.

We aren't wanting to eat any toxic shrooms haha. I am asking because say a person bought a bag and there was a toxic one accidentally mixed in the bag...that person [unless knowledgeable enough] would never know otherwise... So if that person then made shroom tea, even though there is a toxic shroom in the mix, they would still be safe from getting ill.
Anyways this question didn't come from a practical place at all, and is mostly completely random haha.

Well.. no... I wouldn't say it's any more safe than actually eating it. It honestly would seem quite pointless to me.

No.
That is false.

This thread is full of impatient people or poor reading comprehension.
Summary:
Q: Would making tea from improperly identified mushrooms help reduce the incidence of poisonings? A: No.

not worth it.
the poisons are very likely water soluble as well. even if they aren't very soluble in water, some will still leak into the water. it would not remove the poison somehow.

Thank you haha. It's a stupid question as it isn't that hard to spend the time properly IDing mushrooms [hence the thread title] but I couldn't find the answer anywhere.
