Need to Dry them Quick!!
    #1141412 - 12/14/02 03:10 PM (21 years, 3 months ago)

How can I dry these??? Me and my girlfriend thought we'd be able to eat them all, first flush off of 11 cakes. But we cant eat no more, they are all turning blue already, what can we do???? I got some damp-rid but no wire mesh. How can I dry them?? Otherwise, we have to eat them as the nite goes by....

I'll check back every 10 minutes or so, till I remember.

Put them in front of an average house fan on paper towel. After they've been there for about 12-24 hours, put them in the dessicant chamber.

sorry man, I was shroomin myself and that's what my mushrooms told me to tell you!
do you have a pressure cooker? doesn't it have a rack on the bottom to elevate the jars? well, put something like a canning ring under it to elevate it and put the damp-rid underneath (or that new clear super-absorbent kitty litter - it's kinda pricey but it's reusable if you bake the water out of it). Put the lid on.  just
DO NOT BAKE OR HEAT THEM TO DRY THEM
(for any newbie that may read this post)
oh yeah, just put them in a sealed plastic container in the refrigerator - they last longer than you would think - just don't freeze them. I've had them in the fridge for 10 days and they look blue, but not mushy, and my friend that ate one medium sized mushroom - 2 days ago - to "test it" said he tripped pretty good.  Eat Fresh!

I find it funny when people talk about how good house music is....pick up a guitar and learn that and you wont look back....better yet learn to play bass...each to there own though i suppose..

put then in a ziplock bag and tape the bag to the vent opening and turn the AC works perfect for me when i dont have time to let my damp ride do the work, that shit takes 3 days to drz a few ounces.
