premature pinning
    #1141372 - 12/14/02 04:51 PM (14 years, 11 hours ago)

Ok, one of my jars has pins forming and it is not fully colonized! I inoculated this one in only one site (trying to decrease possibility of contam, first time and being over cautious) and there is still a 1/4 of the jar uncolonized. Am I screwed? Do just let it go? What if I let it continue to colonize but dropped the temp from the current 82F? SHIT!

By the way, I think this happened because I am an impatient shit and kept checking my jars every few days. SHIT!

My friend tells me he would take it out.  Clean a sharpe knife with alcohol, and clean off uncolonized verm and brf and place it in your growing chamber.  Those first pins could be the strongest of the flush, and I wouldnt wanna risk losein em, thats just me though.
