Does Green mold start white?

Ive just recently had spots of white that showed up on my case, and after a miting they turned a greenish color, Does green mold start white, i mean right when its about 5mm?

Yes, trich starts as a bright white growth, and only turns green after it's sporulating.  Bad news, I'm guessing :frown:

i just cut the stuff out, and put it close up to my nose to smell and it was mycelium
im pretty sure cause it smelled just like mushrooms, oh well. better than having green mold i guess

If its green, then its not mycelium. Congratulations! You now have a noseful of green mold spores. Please don't use a smell test. Thats just plain stupid. What if it was Aspergillus Niger? You would be sick for who knows how long afterwards, while the spores germinate in your lungs. Take a picture and post it here, look at it closely, but don't smell it. Whatever you do, do not smell it.

That orange is for sure nasties.

THem other big white spots are suspect.

the third and fifth are cobweb and the fourth is trich. I am sure that the fourth is trich but the third and fifth could be matted mycelium
