I was just hunting around town today (Portland, Or), and stumbled upon 3 different Amanitas... They were all growing underneath some pines and hemlock..

I will confess something that should be quite obvious, CC.  I love mushrooms, i.e. fungi.  I really do.  I am talking about a strong feeling, i.e. emotion, for them.  I think they are beautiful.  I even dream of them.

I have never seen a brown shaded Amanita amerimuscaria, is it possible that the brown shaded one would be Amanita pantherina...?

Interesting indeed reishi hunter, I live in the same area, and have never found a brown Amanita amerimuscaria, and I have found many yellow and red ones... I bet that brown one is a panther cap indeed, but im no expert by any means, its just sooo brown..

Right on.... Thats crazy we have 3 completely different colors represented here in the pic. Crazy also how we have brown,
yellow,and also red Amanita Amerimuscaria..

I wonder if its just here in the PNW that we have all that crazy variation of cap color with the Amerimuscaria?

You could be looking at three different species here, (pure yellow)= A. muscaria, (Red or red-orange)= A. amerimuscaria and (brown)= A. pantherina group.

I'm inclined to believe this is the case.

On the east coast (pinkish red or burnt orange)= A. persicina and (yellow or orange-yellow)= A. amerimuscaria; the red form of A. amerimuscaria does not occur in the east.
