what would reality look like if we had every sense possible?

we only have 5, some with more... but we experience what we do with what we have. I'm trying to imagine what this reality/dimension would look like, im thinking it would resembol something like a fractal.

why would it look like a fractal? wouldn't the only contributing factor to how something looks be vision?

it wouldnt look a particular way, it would be a state of being. after all vision is but one sense, and if your sayin we had every sense? like able to see all wavelengths, feel all movement/vibration, hear so well you can visualize?
sounds like a timelord.

It's best not to question this kind of stuff...

what would it look like, if everyone, at all times had full synesthesia of all their senses. seeing sounds, hearing sights etc...

Not necesarrily, all senses have an effect on the other senses.
For example, taste wouldn't be much of anything without smell.

ya its this kind of thought process that just makes me end up in blaaaaaaaaahhhhh staring at a myriad of possibilities. whos to say what senses are possible? what are senses? a word we made up to describe information input into our brains? ok ok im leaving....
DONT TAZE ME BRO!

what effect do taste and smell have on vision?
Let me rephrase, I should have said "some senses have an affect on other senses." But if we had every sense possible I'm sure our vision would change somehow.

I think we would see higher dimensional shapes. All the dimensions would start blurring together and start making new ones. Hyperspace.

okay but why? I don't see what effect hearing, smell, taste, or touch has on vision.

exactly, hyperspace. cause seeing the fourth dimension of time may well be a sense.

Don't we already have every sense possible in this reality? If we had more then it wouldn't be the same reality.
-------------------- People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonances within our own innermost being and reality, so we can actually feel the rapture of being alive.

reality is a tangible word, we dont have every sense in this dimension. and our senses make up our reality.

Yes, so it would be totally different if we had different senses, there for it wouldn't really be reality. Then again what is reality?

It would be a different reality from the subjective point of view. From the objective it would be a different aspect of the same reality.

feel like we;re starting to argue symantics over reality/dimension
