so pretty much khat is Cathinone to them?? even though Khat is not specifically listed in any schedule in the United States.

Growing Khat is as illegal as growing shrooms. Once you've planted it, you're expressing obvious intent to grow, which is manufacture of both  schedule I (cathinone) and schedule IV (cathine) substances.

grow it. if ppl can grow weed shrooms peyote and watever else in the usa then might as well grow khat. u can find it on the streets if u know where to look although its pretty damn rare.

Yeah, it's illegal, but who's going to know? How many people in your city do you think would recognize a khat plant? And of those, how many do you think are law enforcement officials?

Hell, I wouldn't even recognize a khat plant.

See DEA's 2002 Briefing on Khat for more information on their view of khat. In two entries in the Federal Register, the DEA mentions khat and their view of its legal status, but in the scheduling of cathine and cathinone, the DEA chose both times not to list the plant itself and thus the plant remains in a legal grey area.

No one would even know what it is. Unless you regularly have DEA people coming to your house or watever i think your fine. if ur trully worried grow it outdoors somewhere away from civilzation. like how ppl grow weed outdoors. ppl are going to walk right pass it unless you make it obvious some1 planted it there for some purpose. go for it!

Not true. The CSA is worded such that any material containing detectable amounts of a controlled substance is legally considered as being that substance.

They don't need to specifically schedule the plant, and recognize that scheduling specific plants rather than their constituent chemicals generally only weakens the legislation.
