Long time lurker, first time poster. Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, this is about some contaminated mush I bought, not some I grew. Anyways, I recently bought some pretty fresh cyans. This was my second time ever getting mush and before I had only ever dealt with cubes. When I bought them 2 days ago they were still a little wet. My lazy ass let them sit in an open bag and now there appears to be some white specs on some of the caps and stems. The specs come off pretty easily. I've heard that mycellium can grow on drying shrooms. So I have a few questions. Are they still safe to eat? How can I tell if it's mold or mycellium? And if some of the mold/mycellium ever came in contact with some weed (long story) would that be safe to smoke?
I'd love to post a pic but unfortunatly I can't with my current situation. If I decided to eat some of the shrooms what risks are there? I mean it's not any nasty looking black mold, it's not fuzzy, and it developed overnight.
there is a few risks are you 100% sure they are cyans? there is a galerina that looks similar that is deadly i wouldnt eat them till youre sure you know what they are like dstark said a pic would help alot
