why do people assume that if there is one male tiger and a female tiger that they will mate? why are we to say you're male, you're female, have kids? That is kind of like a prearranged marriage, how do you know animals don't feel love?

Why, cause people rarely really study the things they "know" about.

I think some animals may well feel what we call love. Not the unconditional kind but the mate to mate kind. I've read some interesting accounts of animal mates that suggest it's quite possible.

Many humans however, because we want to use animals as another possession choose to believe without evidence that animals don't feel emotion.

yeah it would suck to be in love and know it's mutual but you can't get to each other because your lover is in the next cage over to the right

Pre-arranged marriage was common for most of Western history, and remains a widespread practice throughout other parts of the world.  Such marriages have an equal if not greater chance of working out as non-arranged marriages.

I try not to think on it too much. I spent too much time being very very sad about things I couldn't do anything about.

same, that's why the creator needs to start a revolution on this planet, we should not have to feel down because of the faults of others

The idea that anything "should" do anything is illogical and neurotic. That's something I've learned the hard way.

Now that would suck. That does happen in today's society, though because think of it as the cage as in another human who's blocking you off from your real lover and you know she loves you back but her boyfriend is an asshole and she just decides to stay with him. Sorry if that made no sense, that sentence even confused me somewhat.
