Chasing a Fly Out of Your House
    #11409290 -

I mean, I dont want to kill this thing.

It's loud and large (for a fly) and it's pissing me off just being near me.

I try to direct it out of the open screen door.

It doesn't take instruction very well. I would have sent 8 parakeets to their deaths by now.

Guide it with lights. Turn the lights on in each room until it goes into that room then turn the lights off and turn the ones on in the next room then just turn on any lights you have outside.

i usually don't like killing things.  like spiders or beetles that have wandered into my domicile are safe.  but for some reason flies receive ruthless punishment.  and roaches.  and ants.  but that's about it.

uhh.. so i don't have any advice for you.

A Chinese math teacher in high school had awesome ninja skills. In the middle of maths he would snap his hand through the air and then hold out his fist and say "fly or no fly?". There would always be a fly. Also when mosquitoes bit him he could somehow trap their suction things in his arm and they would keep drinking until they exploded. Alot of the time he seemed to be in some strange daze. Possibly opium. He was a really cool guy.

i can catch flies barehanded from time to time.  it isn't exactly rare, but it's nowhere near a sure bet.

i can also usually snap them out of the air with a towel or handkerchief or whatever.  i can snap the fuck outta some dish rags.

What do u mean U dont want to kill the fly. I understand that U dont like killing living stuff but its u or the fly. It will land on your pizza and lay some eggs and pathogens and shit and U will die in miserable death throes. So get that cheap deodorant of yours find a lighter and incinerate the fucker. Or if u are too meek for that just get and empty glass and catch the fly against a window, put a piece of paper on the opening of the glass once the fly is in. And let it outside...
BTW I dont like killing spiders..they make me a favour by catching them ugly fly fuckers.

I had a small spider in a petri dish. So once I was taking a shower and suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my arm and what do I find. A wasp (yea a stinging wasp on my towel). So since i was extremely bored I introduced the wasp to the spider and it was awesome to watch (well not really but I was too stoned not to be amazed). The spider got fucked...received a shot of wasp venom and shrugged. Try something similar. Im thinking of making a thread about all these things u can when being bored D

when i was like 14 or 15 i caught a wasp in a glass and found a preying mantis on the porch, so i stuck them in the glass together.  of course the matis pwned the fuck out of the wasp.  the mantis seemed immune to the stings, because it looks like it got stung in the mouth quite a few times.

i actually filmed it on a shitty webcam, but if i remember correctly it was pretty shit quality considering i was filming through distorted glass using a like .5 megapixel webcam.

We get large ones here and they don't live in webs but instead wonder around of their own accord. I admit these ones scare the shit out of me. I can't stand them in my house. So i either get someone else to catch them, or i leave the window open and hope they climb out. Its summer now, which is spider season, its only a matter of time before one those fuckers gets in and traumatizes me.

Maybe if they're two male spiders in a confined space.

that bitch!

i love spider pets.  i always feed them.  been doing it since i was a weed lad.  i remember many a day spent in my pennsylvanian suburban neighborhood throwing grasshoppers into the funnel looking webs of the spiders around the houses (they weren't actual "funnel web spiders", but the web was like a flat surface that lead to a little funnel where they would hide and wait).  also, moths into hanging webs is much fun.  watching them dart towards the direction of the disturbance, then spin the moth around in a deadly pirouette of silken entanglement.  yeah!

Exhibit great design. Made accordingly to their purpose..to catch and kill things. I'm kinda afraid of touching them n stuff but I have real appreciation for the small beasts.

seems more likely if it were two females.  male spiders are always tiny compared to the females.  and generally much less aggressive.

Definitely. They are a massive head fuck for me. I don't really fear the pain from the bite, its just the way they look and move. The one in that picture is really fast when it wants to be. But mainly they just sit on the wall with their legs stretched out. I find the whole thing creepy.

I have thought up a high tech flytrap. Its a device you put on the table or sumplace, which scans a cone shaped piece of the sky above it (lets say 25'angle cone) When a fly flies through it it lightning fast aims and fires a laser pulse at the bug, a short 0.01sec pulse but strong enough to give the fly instant lethal hyperthermia. (lets say 150'F fever)

Its the same principle as surface-to-air defense, but then on a micro scale.

I think my surface-to-air flytrap could be built with existing technology.

Thats not a spider fight, those are two spiders mating. The drumming with the legs from the smaller male is an encouragement that he comes for teh sexo, not to get eaten.

i don't think anyone, even people who like spiders, would be dumb enough to leave a black widow or brown recluse inside their house.  people are generally bit by the recluse either in their sleep or while messing around in unfurnished storage areas/basements.  and actual bites from either spider aren't exactly common either.  they're not unheard of, but they're not common.  you just let media sensationalization amplify your phobia.

99% of the spiders you see would at worst leave a bite like a beesting.  and that's only if totally provoked.  they're tiny spiders.  they're way more scared of you and will almost always run away.

your logic is silly and completely flawed.

nigga you dont know me so how can you say that. NOW that logic is silly and completely flawed.

im just saying if u have habits of leaving ur house dirty and nasty with cobwebs n shit then its just inviteing for tons of spiders and insects to stay in your house.

but you of course clean out there old webs and make sure every spider is non poisonous!

and no im not scared of a fuking spider. im just saying when i see a huge ass spider making a web outside my house every night i have to kill it. imagine how fucked up it would be for my neighbor to walk over and then has some gnarly orb weaving spider on his face.

i'm not sure how the fact that i don't know you disproves anything i said.  unless you're referring to the "you" following 99%.  but that was a nonspecific, universal second person reference.  not actually meaning i know exactly what spiders you personally are seeing.
