Armillaria tabescens is edible, about the same as Armillaria mellea.

That is a nice microphotograph zeronio.

Do people cultivate the Ringless Honey Mushroom?
-I took a spore print of the ones in the picture and the print turned out white in color, just as expected,

Ringless honeys grew like mad around here on the base of practically every tree in a 100 sq. foot area. They were very cool looking until they started rottening and made flys everywhere in that area. Heh.

Those look a lot like the ones that I have found around here, but of course that isnt a positive ID, but Im guessing those are RHM's.

Those look like Armillaria tabescens to me. The only thing you should verify is that they were growing from wood (possibly buried, including roots).

That picture is not magnified that much, it shows an area of about 1 square inch. They form very big & agressive rhizomorphes.
They're not really worth growing, I cloned them just for fun - to see if they're bioluminiscent like A. mellea.

i have eaten armillaria tabescens from the midwest.
it was larger than those, and was growing from oak stumps.
pretty good eatin.
those look like some honeys i been seein here in oregon in wood chips....
