OC and Icelander

Those grumpy old guys
They sound just like my dad (grumpy old guy)
"I don't want grand kids, i don't wanna go to little johnny's soccer game"
"I'm ready to just die."
How does one get sick of life, and just want to die, but not so out of depression?

By experiencing everything life has to offer to the max.
Since I haven't done that yet I don't want to cash in today. However that does not mean I don't want to be ready to die.

Huh? I want to die?
This thread seems very grumpy. You are well on your way.

Please take your chips to the teller's cage.
BTW, I predict grumpy old Diploid will lock/delete this thread because he is miserable with life just like CS's dad.

How does one learn what life has to offer to the max? I guess that's pretty subjective...

I was kidding. No one lives life fully to the max imo.
If you're smart however you know when it's time to quit if you have that option.

That'd be sick. Then we move onto the "real" reality.

Yeah, but there is no difference in "real" Just one big mind fuck of not knowing exactly whats real and whats just imaginary.

Yeah. Kinda like a 800 mic acid trip where you just become everything. The past, present, future and everywhere spatially possible. All simultaneously connected and throbbing with energy.

Growing old has few advantages and plenty of disadvantages. It's hard to imagine what it's like without experiencing it. You can lose your strength and your mind. Beyond that, what else is of value?
I get bummed sometimes because in my head and heart I'm 16. I used to get hit on all the time. Now it is extremely rare. I liked the ego boost of female attraction. Now they're just memories.
It can suck.
