White Puff on cake (or is it myconuts)? (PICS)
    #11399913 - 11/06/09 07:26 PM (8 years, 1 month ago)

ok
so i have 1 cake that sadly become halved when it was born...
that being said it was incubated for 1 week after colonization and then dunked, rolled, and put into the FC.
I fan and mist 3-5 times daily (tho spread out cause i have to go to school), they get indirect day light for at least 10 hours during the day

I'm curious whether what i have are myconuts or just fuzz growing like crazy.
Some of it is brownish, but that is cause i touched it...some other parts went brown too without me touching them, but more fuzz just grew right over it...
anyone seen this before?
(I have more pictures if you want to see more)

These are Cubes, so im not sure why the mycellium is doing this...
It has been 8 days since they went in the FC
There was at least one pin on day 3 or 4, but it was eaten by the mycofuzz!

Is this a contam? temps are ~60, strain is Z-strain

the temps are too low. It is just mycelium, its too cold to fruit so they just produce mycelium.
