You're a slave to money then you die.

We have always been a "slave" to some need.

its how you seperate your human needs from your "spiritual" and academic evolution that can define you as something more than just a human animal

Yeah, a pathological ego slaves to something.  It has always been either currency or resources.

Those are often slaves to money as well.  They strive to have more, and its not really a neurotic obsession with 100% of these people.  It's more of a notion of "because i can"

We all die, but there are a few who dont chase after life by beleiving that money = life
Some are smart enough to see the universe handles itself alright so i need not chase

Some love the chase, some are caught in the chase & hate it, some simply see through the chase
If you really see that you eventually die, then you automaticallly stop chasing

I guess it comes down to what makes you happy... if the striving to have more money makes you happy, then why not pursue it?

Personally I'd like to think that I'd be satisfied with a modest income provided most of my basic needs were met.  However they do tend to say that the more you have, the more you want.  Hopefully greed can be circumvented by appropriate psychedelic use.

I hate quoting rappers as I don't even listen to rap but as Biggie said, "Mo' money,mo' problems".

I started making a nice bit of money a while back. I was very comfortable for a small period of time.

In that short space of time,I turned into all but a ruthless vulture. The money went to my head barely after I acquired it. I was sitting on the money and worried about how I'd get more, fast.

My money was on my mind 25 hours a day,no joke. Constantly fretting over fucking currency that I'd been hoarding.Getting worried spending a few euro when I had a load stashed away. Turned me into a tight ass I think.

That money is now gone and I feel myself again. It was the devil I tell you.

that is why i put spiritual in quotes, as a general term it just means your less material needs and the things that actually give your life more substance.
and remember there is a difference between religious and spiritual
