Cant get this piece cleaned

So im having trouble cleaning my piece. the resin is super hard. ive tried soaking it drying it paper clips knifes screw drivers nails...its annoying. so much good resin inside worth smoking but i cant get it out for the life of me.

what did you soak it in? when i run into that i soak it in iso. usually works real nice.
which reminds me that my bowl is pretty gross right now. i should clean it too.:tongue:

Rubbing Alcohol + Table Salt + Shake Vigorously = Clean

But... if you just gotta smoke that nasty stuff then idk :shrug:

I think people who are driven to smoke that toxic waste are simply smoking beyond their means and should rethink their conservation strategies.

the alcohol is key because it's a solvent. water won't work as well.

if its realllly bad... I put it in a pot of boiling water and it usually started coming out in chunks.

than when out..swish it with rice and iso in it to get the shit stuff on the sides.

alright allright ill try sum alcohol.. but still i dont see anything wrong with the resin smoking...it doesnt taste THAT bad...and its not smelly..prolly not very good for lung sbut then again what kind of smoking is.

while the pipe is still full of Isopropyl, get a pipe-cleaner, get it wet with iso, and stick it in and rub everywhere.  The key is to use the iso though.

this will work too. just be super careful with any big temp change because the glass is much more likely too break. assuming your piece is glass, that is.

I would substitute the rubbing alcohol for a 151 rum because rubbing alcohol has a toxic chemical in it that leaves a residue after evaporation but what

Oh yeah and leave the salt out if you plan on smoking it and then just sit the 151 rum and resin solution on a flat plate till it evaporates.

idk man usually i just fill my pieces with salt, then some 91% iso alcohol and shake. always does the job.

werd...for sure. My friends buy like 25 buck glass cleaner and my mixture of water/iso with rice always worked as good..

than i use thd boiling water in severe cases where i cnat get shit to come out. and gotta love that rubbery resin smell all in the room :smirk:

Downstems and tiny areas are hard to get the salt and iso to shake around. Pipe cleaners ftw in that situation.

As others said, iso + salt + shaking usually does the trick. If that doesn't work then make a trip to a hardware store and pick up some acetone(painting section). I recently soaked my bowl in acetone for about 2 hours and then ran it through a few more times... Got the bowl almost 100% clean with no salt + shaking.

Hm, I just bought some Acetone man. Can I just leave it in a bowl and let it sit? It will hopefully clean my vape whip which is so fucking dirty.

Yeah you can do that. Just keep an eye on it and put it in a ventilated area because acetone evaporates pretty fast compared to alcohol. Avoid putting it in a plastic container because it will dissolve a lot of plastics.

Took a breath of my vape whip thinking it would be clean, inhaled what must have been acetone vapor. Hopefully I don't die.

It cleaned the bowl part of the whip nicely, but the pvc must be too stained. Hopefully pvc is cheap. This will avoid me having to buy a new whip.

Rocker: you won't die I've unintentionally inhaled my fair share of acetone vapor and I'm still alive. And yeah, PVC is really cheap if you're talking about the kind they use for water pipes.

soak it with some OXY-Clean and hot water. i tried it once never turned back. of course i don't smoke anymore, but i use it for everything else applicable. its the shit

Yeah I just bought about 5 feet for a little under $3. You saved me a good $20 in buying a new whip man!

Now to decide if I should pimp the vape out more with this...
