Rejuvenation: I need some help with a flowering chamber
    #11396850 - 11/06/09 12:01 PM (8 years, 5 months ago)

Alright, so its almost reaching the 24 hour mark of the suggested 36 hour dunk my cakes are now enduring.

I need some suggestions for a growing chamber.

The cakes are only a few inches across. Is their a safe perlite substitute I can use for the bedding of my flowering/growth chamber?

How can I keep the humidity up?

I've seen the teks for grow chambers here but they require either some electronic equipment or combinations of soils and minerals I don't have.

I'll be trying to grow them in my closet.

Can I use a humidifier? Like the ones people put in their room and put Vick's in when they have a cold? If so how can I use it?

any suggestions/details?

Thank you

pipe a coolmist humidifier to a close to the top of a plastic tub then drill a 2 inch hole near the bottom and fill that with poly fill. keep it on for 24/7. dont use a ultrasonic because it puts out too much moisture.

I would say pull those puppies from your dunk, roll them. An try to find some perlite. Lowes has it here... And its definitly worth the simplicity

Dunk should be 12-24 hours, 36 is way too long. After first flush just couple of hours.

someone suggested 36 hours because these particular cakes were dried and shriveled when I received them from a friend.

I'm hoping they will be rejuvenated.
