i agree that the one on the right looks close to done but no way the rest are colonized. especially when i turn them upside down and look at the bottom. the mycelium HAS reached the center BUT its not as consolidated as the sides of the jars are.

They must be just aching for some room to fruit!
I would be tempted to clone one of the first pins to come up, while still young and full of energy, and drop it in some LC, to isolate the quickest, most eager-to-grow substrain in that lazy MS batch you have there...

I would isolate multiple times. Who's to say the quickest one will even be potent at all?

ill pasturize four crates worth of sub this weekend and then next week ill pour 1 jar in each tub and mix thourouly. throw the crates in some heavy duty garbage bags to colonize; once consolidated and colonized ill take em out of the bags, introduce FAE and a 12/12 light cycle. thats just a general overview, not to many details. im goin to bed now...feel free to comment on this thread all night. ill be back in the morning. peace.

Next time fill ur jars about halfway full with grain. After the inoculation is done, shake the grain....it should colonize in a 1/4 of the time.
A neat method for production ..... inoculate three jars..shake....colonize...find the fastest colonizer and use that one for g2g transfer on 5-10 jars....keep one or two for the repeat(store in fridge until used).

Definitely fully colonized. The extra time you've kept them in the jars will be rewarded though, I assure you.

Like always, those look perfectly fine from my end as well but I'm seeing them from a computer screen, not in person. Try them out, they should work out if you don't smell anything funky after breaking the jars up.

This might be a stupid noob observation, especially since I'm still on my first grow and am by no means any kind of expert, but your extra colonization time could be due to the size of your jars... From what I've gathered through reading, larger jars take longer to colonize, and those appear to be quart jars.
I'm more than willing to admit to being wrong on this... Just a thought.

you mentioned that the bottom of some of the jars dont seem colonized. there is a good chance that if this is truly the case, they are too wet.
many people have problems with the bottom of grain jars colonizing because of extra moisture.
ensure that there is no bacterial growth at the bottom then spawn those mofos! inspect each open jar before mixing it in with the others.
Good luck!
