This guy was found many MONTHS back...
i was just quite curious as to that species it was.
found on a lawn growing amongst MANY others...
and some Chlorophyllum molybdites

Maybe something like Amanita aprica.  But its silly to try to guess which Amanita based on those pictures alone.  A pic of the base of the stem is required.

They look free to me, and they probably are free, per the Amanita-like veil remnants on the cap.
