Does this mycelium look like a contam?

Although i may advise others in a general way regarding all types of mushroom grows, and may even post question from other forums about growing "active" mushrooms, i only grow non-"active" mushrooms and edibles.

I am trying to get a better feel for contams so I can isolate before they become dangerous.

Well, maybe it isn't trich. I've got a spot of some green in another jar but I'm not even sure if that's trich either. Unfortunately it's in a really bad spot, so I can't snap a pic readily.

How long does trich take to sporulate?

its not mould.

mold is easy to spot. the spores are obvious and nasty looking. Mold will look like coloured sand ontop of the mycelium. Bruising is the colour of the mycelium itself

Could be bruising from the surface of the jar running dry, I've had that happen a few times with some stragglers. You can either wait a few more days to see if it makes itself more present in the jar or  just gently break apart that section to expose the inner kernels. Contamination can be well hidden in jars guys/girls.

I've gone through perfectly normal looking jars just to find a small pocket of trich in a otherwise healthy culture.

Doesn't look like contamination to me.

Trich myc is bright white compared to cubensis, then the spores show up. The difference is really easy to see on a petri dish.
