Habitat:
Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc.along side marcola rd in marcola,under a pine tree in two ft of pine needles,part. shade,found 11/09 is my avatare pic

Gills:
Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc.unopened,no gill visable

Stem:
Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc.

Cap:
Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc.

Spore print color:
Very important!

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.none

Other information:
Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.good smell,like you could eat

Definitly Chlorophyllum sp., maybe C. rhacodes.

You could have eaten them if you waited till they were old enough to spore print so you could rule out C. molybdites, which is poisonous.

Nice looking specimen though! :headbanger:

Out of curiousity, which state is Marcola in?

There are no Chlorophyllum molybdites in Marcola, Oregon. Especially not at this time of year.
