orange prints - same mushroom?
    #11393220 - 11/05/09 06:58 PM (14 years, 4 months ago)

I was wondering if these could be the same kind of mushroom,  - caps were a somewhat olivaceous yellow, thick (cm) hollow stems, all print orange, but the two on the ground had yellow gills while the one growing out of the foot of the pine has a very dark orange gills, and a bit more pungent mushroom taste, and i don't see a remnant.  These were some 50 ft apart, the yellow ones by the roadside, and all print seems same shade of orange.

The other one looks like Gymnopilus but its probably actually in Cortinarius.
