ID Request - SF Bay

Habitat: Found these growing near a creek in Richmond, CA.  It was growing next to a tree stump in the grass.

Gills: rusty brown

Stem: 1-2" long, white, hollow


Cap: 1/2-2" diameter, wavy, convex

Spore print color: grayish black

Bruising: none

Intriguing.

Were they more fresh when you found them, or did they look like that? Hollow stem? Hmmmm..

The spores in the first pic look purplish black to me. However, I could see how someone would use the color gray incorrectly.

For the spore sprint, I put the cap on a piece of paper and let it sit overnight.  I thought it looked grayish but I checked it again and it was dark brown.  Sorry about the screw up.

Its probably Leratiomyces percevalii.
