Look what we can do with all those prisoners!

I'm pretty sure in America we grind up our prisoners and use them as free fodder for television shows -- mostly reality tv shows for MSNBC, Nat Geo, and other networks, who like to show low-budget, quality-crap, pseudo-documentaries like "Lock Up," "Prison Nation," and "Cops."

Let's face it, the War on Drugs is good for business on many levels...

Lock up aint bad and neither is prison nation, the first time i watched prison nation was the first time it was bought to my attention of the actual statistics of how many people are in jail for simple offenses like pot.

Il ahve to disagree with you

Feel free to disagree, but any nation that turns its prisoners into public entertainment, is just a stone's throw from Ancient Rome.

Next they'll have them engage in gladiatorial combat for our amusement...

what if we had voluntary gladitorial combat? like what if prisoners on death row were given the oportunity to fight eachother in a modern day Colosseum. the winner gets to live and wont be put to death. i think that'd be alright. we could televise it and people could vote on the weapons they get to use etc. american idol style.

EDIT: I'm not serious
