Dunno, soda out of a glass bottle is damn near an orgasmic experience for my taste buds. Fuck plastic though. And cans are worse.

Not always fact. The quality of fountain soda depends on the water, the mixture of sirup, and degree of carbonation. If you happen to get a drink when sirups running low, or the carbonation is close to out, you're gonna get watered down soda which is fail.
I'd have to go with an ice cold coke from the glass bottle.

It seems like fountain soda is always a little weak, I think they alter the ratio to save money on syrup.

I have a seltzer maker and I make super bubbly seltzer to mix with stuff... since it's super carbonated, it evens out to a little less carbonation than a normal soda.
Best "stuff" so far? Welch's Superjuice (60/40 juice/seltzer)... It's like a oral orgasm with no high frutose corn syrup bullshit.

One can a day is still alot of pop. I stopped drinking pop (one a day) and it helped me loose a good amount of weight I was shocked.

Fountain soda is shit.
Back in the day before soda became Americas sugar slime supplement, soda was served on draft like beer. This meant it was a real prepared beverage instead of something reconstituted from syrup and carbonated water at the instant you order it.
Oh well. More soda kegs for me.

Don't drink a bunch of soda, but I second coke from a can. With a shit-ton of ice cubes, too, so it gets kinda water.

Cheaper, easier and less trash. We used to go through 3 or 4 bottles of seltzer a day. That's a lot of lifting and carrying from the store, and a lot of trash!
Now we get small CO2 canisters and make our own in reusable bottles... it's easy and you can vary the level of carbonation too! 
Oh, and combined with a Pur filter on the tap? Crisp, clean carbonated water!

No, absolutely not.
A. There are about 4-8 extra chemicals added to fountain soda that arent in bottled soda.
B. That machinery gets really filthy. I remember cleaning a pepsi machine and there was nasty black gunk in there. I actually took a break to hurl.
