Bamboo Clothing/Loungewear
    #11389835 - 11/05/09 11:52 AM (7 years, 11 months ago)

Anyone tried wearing any bamboo clothing?  Is it for the hippies or is it super comfortable?

I must not Fear. Fear is the mindkiller . Fear is the little-death that
brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and
through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. ONLY I WILL REMAIN.

its super comfortable. not only that but traditional cotton uses 1/3 of a pound of chemicals, herbacides and pestacides per white T shirt=. all that over the life of the shirt absorbs into your skin. its discusting. go with organic cotton or bamboo.

thats bullshit.

You think organic cotton doesnt use pesticides or herbicides? they just dont use synthetic ones. Which in some cases are actually less harmful than the "organic" ones.

Might want to check your facts before you buy into the whole "organic" trend. You will see it is quite the marketing scheme.

I have one pair of bamboo socks. They feel softer than normal socks but anyway normal ones are usually the cheapest I find so that could be one reason...

lol... I dont know where people come up with this shit, I'm in the land
of cotton and I never see herbicides or pesticides used, boll weevils
are the only thing destructive tot he crop and it's not that damned
common and they plant densely so that the plants choke out the weeds
not to mention cotton goes through several washes prior to hitting the
store shelves as t-shirts
