Growing for 2nd time still needing some advice

ok, im waiting on my 10cc B+ strain syringe to arrive and im going to be starting my second attempt to grow again

ill just list everything i have, what i plan on doing, and what ive done so far.

What i have done so far.
1) bleached walls
2) bleached funriture
3) bleached ceiling
4) bleached so much i feel like i even bleached the air, probably not good for me

5) you get the general idea, i cleaned the fuck out of my room.

also im a teenage living with parents, (a cop) lol and i have to keep them hidden in a grow box in my closent.

so my room is super clean...

i placed filters in my airvent to prevent smoke from entering ym room.
i also bought a hepa filter to keep in my closent. i have a terrarium made with holes in all six sides, and hidden perfectly in my closent, (lol) kinda.

here is a list of what i have then ill explain on what im going to do

jars, vermiculite, perlite, alcohol lamp, spore syringe, filters, air disinfectants, sanitizers, gloves, masks, alcohol wipes, grow light, spray bottle.. more

i plan on re sanitizing my room when the spores get here just to be safe

here is my plan


mix vermiculite and brownrice flour and water,
fill jars and put four holes in the lids and cover holes with a breathable medical tape, then sterilize
after that ill inject 1/4cc into each hole of 10 jars
then ill set them in my grow box for 2-4 weeks keeping temp around 75 degrees, (DO I NEED TO AIR OUT?)during this time? or will they be ok to just sit.
once fully colonized ill take them out and DUNK'N ROLL, while they are dunking ill resanitize the growbox
right before they are ready to be set into the box ill fill the bottom of the box with my perlite, then ill set cakes down spread out evenly.

this is where i fuck up

how much light will they need?
i plan on airing out 3x a day.
ill constantly have my filter running and ill allow fresh air in every 6 hours

i think thats it, last time i had no perlite so humidity was a pain to obtain, im hoping this time goes good. i have done my research :smile: :smile:

ohh how much should i expect to get if all goes well

(10) 1/2 pint jars of B+ Strain.

You didn't need to poison yourself and everyone you share the space with for this.  A simple glovebox would be fine for the kind of sterile work you're thinking about doing.  Bleaching EVERYTHING aside from being pointless and excessive, is also dangerous.

This is one slippery slope you're heading down.  I strongly discourage growing in a household as described, especially if you're living with a cop for crying out loud.  :thumbdown:

And your answer about light is 8-12 hours. Not completely necessary to do that much though. They just like it.

you dont even need light man, just to trigger pins and FAE will mostly do that.

As teenagers, parents are somewhat comparable to cops anyway.  It's sketchy at any rate if you ask me.

thanks for the help so far guys, yea about the bleaching its just i messed up last time. and i live with my dad and he is a cop, wierd thing is, he likes to tell me stories about his past trips lol so not so bad vibes,

am i taking the steriliztion way to serious? cause i know for a fact it was the poor humidity that killed my last batch. my friend suggested it, i find it pointless to go this far

ya you don't need light if you don't care about having nice big healthy mushrooms, but instead prefer small puny mostly abort mushrooms... go read RR's notes in my journal about the advantages of having a good light source at least 12 hours a day.

It's totally pointless to go that far.  If you're not working under a flow hood, the main thing you need isn't sterility per se, but still air.  A simple glove box will achieve this.

Anyway, I offer this information so that at the very least you won't continue poisoning yourself.  I still don't condone this grow.

Well really, the guy doesn't need to be laying the bleach on like that.  It's unhealthy and absolutely pointless.  He ought to know that.  I do think the grow is a terrible idea though.
