Green (trich?) on my tray. popcorn spawned to coir/verm

I have about 4 trays going. 3 went well and are about to go in the FC. However one tray is just about fully colonized except for a small piece in the corner. I have a nice bright lime green color. Possibly Trich, but after reading I found that it could be Penicillium or Aspergillus.
Either way, it is not mycelium. So I assumed it is trich and covered it with some salt. I read through many searches that should usually kill it off.
My question is this, should I wait and see what happens with it? Should I cut it out and fruit the rest? Or should I do what I originally planned on doing and just digging a hole in the yard and burying it?
I can also throw it out, which is prob what I will do. But I wanted to know if anyone who has had this green mold had any success afterwards? (I took the tray and put it on the other side of my house so it is away from my good stuff.)

you dont want to keep any contaminants any where near your grow area. any novice grower knows not to keep anything suspected of contamination at all, you know "safety hazard" and all. we dont want noobs to read this and think its alright to keep any number of possibly deadly molds in their grow area. bottom line toss it.

green mold will not hurt you unless your allergic to it, it is very bad for your future projects, but black mold is very bad 4 all.
various mold spores are in the air you breath all the time so please dont make it sound like the plague.
your immune system deals with allmost all molds that enter your body everyday/every breath.
99% of all mold info is backed by an insurance corp of some type and they spread tons of miss-information on mold to scare people into making expencive renovations to their homes etc... which are just out right false.
just know what your dealing with and use good judgement.

Yea, I already buried it outside... Hopefully in a few months I'll get some fruits. If not, no biggy.

If it's already fruiting, I'll salt them generously and hope for the best (keep a close eye on it).
If it's just a small surface infection you can soemtimes kill it off. If your sub is contaminated though, you can salt the bastard all you want it'll keep growing/spreading from the inside out.
If it does that, I set it out in the garage and hope for the best. A couple times I've put what I thought was a lost cause out there, only to find some big ol meaty mushrooms in the tubs a week or two later.
