How long does gresh sclerotia preserve in honey?

Hi,

quick question: I tossed some sclerotia in a jar with honey in hope that they would keep a long time (i didn't have time to dry). They have been in the honey from the 2nd of september.
Most of the truffles look good, but some have deep brown/black spots. Also the jar of hunney made a puff when i opened it.. Are these still good to eat?
