Unfinished jars used in bulk?
    #1138432 - 12/13/02 12:17 PM (14 years, 4 months ago)

Ok heres the deal. I have like 4 pf jars that have been at 90% for a while. I took off tape and flipped and what not. I have to go out of town for like 5 days. I was planning on using these jars for a bulk horse poo casing. Can i go ahead and spawn them to the the poo even though there not completly colonized. I dont see why it would matter since they have to colonize the poo as well. Im using aluminum pans with lids. anyone done this before?

Im not sure but i think the colonized parts is just verm that fell down into it. I made the jars very loosely packecd. Im growin in a 18 x 6 ' attic space that is adjancent to my roomand it has a dead bolt in it. The only thing in there is my growing supplies. My house is only 2 years old. This is my first time growing. Ive made my own syringes from print and everything. Not one contam and i havent been super sterile at all. I just dont think my house has many contams in it at all. So that couldnt be what is stopping the growth. I never kept the tap off and fliped for longer than 1-2 days and i did this twice. This is because when i flippedit it created a lil air space on the bottom of the jar (now top when fliped) and there would seem to be alot of moisture on the glass an and it would scare me of possible contams so i would retape. hope all this makes sence since im too lazy to proof read.
