What makes a whore?

What actions or behaviors constitutes enough proof to label someone a full on "whore". I don't mean a prostitute either, that is more of a money thing and not as much a personality trait.
I'm talking about when people say, "my ex was a total whore", what did they do that was so bad and out of societies normal acceptable conventions that warrants this label?

I have used this term before, like when my ex-Wife cheated on me back when we were first dating, or another ex-girl friend (mother of my first son) slept with my cousin just to get back at me for not taking her back after she had left me for some other guy. Those I would label whores.

Anyone else have experience with having to use this word to describe someone and if so, how can you justify using such a harsh term for a person.

Womens opinions are more than welcome on this thread because although my side will deal with why women are whores, there are a lot of man whores out there to and what is that to you?

I believe that there should be a period of time when people, regardless of age or place in life, are allowed to "go buck wild" as long as they don't try and have a supposed committed relationship with one person while trying to ufck everyone else.

That being said, a person can sleep with a million other people over a period of time and not truly be a whore because their intentions were always good. Meaning that they just happened to sleep with a lot of people until they found the right one but they just haven't met the right one and so they have no choice but to keep just fucking.

On the other hand a person can be single and sleep with a lot of people just because it feels good and they are not whores either because they are single and so not hurting anyone, just enjoying sex.

A person can be married and end up falling out of love with their mate and leave them and end up sleeping with another person.

This person is not a whore either, right?

So who are the whores, have you met one or been in a relationship with one, are you one?

i don't believe simply sleeping with many people constitutes whoreness. when there's cheating, lying, backstabbing going on, then the term might be appropriate. just cause a girl knows what she wants and is upfront and comfortable about it, she's no whore.

Cheating women are whores. If they aren't in a an exclusive relationship, more power to em though. Being cheated on is one of the worst if not the worst feeling I've ever experienced. Just my 2cents.

I couldn't agree more. I think that term is used far too much but cheating, lying and backstabbing will bring out the harsh words of course.

Mainly if she cheats while in a relationship.

If you're single then it pretty much comes down to how much you respect yourself. If you respect yourself and aren't just sleeping with every person who shows interest then you aren't really a whore. If you fuck anything that walks then it's a different story.

I am of the ilk that believes if you are interested in someone in a sexual way,it should be explored as long as both parties are not jealous or have any other childish hangups about sex.Sex should be like food,enjoy many different varieties.There is too much emphasis on how people SHOULD be in a relationship.Not necessarily be promiscuous,but experience sex with the one that has a mutual feeling.
Some people let jealousy get in the way of human experience.I do not believe in total monogamy.It seems to create problems for some people.Some people absolutely have to have it,it is good for them.They should not dictate how everyone should be/feel/act.

This is true too. Just last night I was getting the
"come over here and hit on me" vibe from a collage girl friend of one of my girl "friends" and I didn't bite so she asked my girl "friend" if I was gay. She told her no, not gay married with kids.

Anyway this girl is an honors student and a really nice person with a super strict (moral) family and she apparently is one of those girls that will fuck you if you get her drunk.

She ended up fucking another guy that was there with us that night, I thought about it later when I found out, "that could have been me", "dang it".
