A flowhood provides a larger and more convenient workspace. It doesn't improve your sterile technique. You don't need it for agar or anything else, but it's useful in some situations.

You make it all possible. Doesn't it feel good?

here is the3 best link that i have found, by using the search engine.

http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/11146287#11146287

and yes it does help real alot when using agar, it keeps a stream of clear pure air blowing on and around ur worksite, thus greatly reducing your chance of getting contams

The shipping would be through the roof.. I did mine almost a year ago I think.. Love it..  Also it only cost me around 250 to build.

how was the wiring up, of that motor? did it already have a plug in on it, or did you have to put one on it

The blower came with wiring instructions.  But there was only 3 wires.. 1 hot 1 neutral and 1 ground..  It comes with the cord but it's not hooked up so you gota hook it up in the littler black box on the left side

I just slap a 20 dollar hepa furnace filter on over the blower before I turn it on.

i can vouch for damions tek
it works i had to make some adjustments
the blower does come with the cord attached as of recently when i bought it
the place damion got his filter pissed me off and has shitty customer service
go with a company called danforth and search their site for the 24x12 filter i cant remember how deep it is though

noobie ill pm u some pics of a cheap humidifier i made from an idea of someone elses tek
it costs like 20$ to make and works amazingly on my gh's

its not attached really
it sits on that wood and the top keeps it in place
i forgot what i added but we added something i think to stabilize it because its such a strong fan
it doesnt wobble when in use
