Time between dosing?

So I have a friend who is curious if there is a certain amount of time that you have to wait between doses of san pedro or mescaline? He heard a rumor that people who have ingested san pedro have to wait atleast 24 hours to dose again to feel the affects. Is this true? Is it necesary to wait a certain amount of time between doses? Any help would be greatlly aprreciated.
