Amanita Muscaria.
They're safe to consume, yes, but not "magic" like other mushrooms.
I recommend doing some research about them, and proper preparation before consumption.

The spores should be white, not yellow.

Were they off-whitish yellow, or straight up yellow?

Look like some variant of muscaria for sure though...

They aren't magic in the psilocybin way, but they can get you faded. Do some research on this and other sites about them before you even think of eating them though.

I have never eaten them, but have heard they are closer to a disassociate more than a hallucinogenic.

You will get high, but not necessarily a psychedelic high.  Low doses can be taken as suppliments to help reduce shyness in social situations sort of like Kava.  Larges doses will make you sick for 30mins to an hour, and then it gets pretty awesome.

Here's a link to a dosage table.

http://www.erowid.org/plants/amanitas/amanitas_dose.shtml

-Edit-
The dosage table is for dry mushrooms.

Cut them in half if you chose to eat them and make sure it's not hollowed out. They look like they are infested with fly larva aka maggots. could be that a slug or another animal came across and ate a little off the cap, deer find them delicious. But then again a ingredient in them is used as a fly repellent, i don't know if that keeps flys from laying eggs in them though.

It's all up to you, they wouldn't be any less safe if that's what your asking. I was implying personally I don't eat slug mucus or maggots, but whatever floats your boat.

put it in the toaster oven for a few minutes and the mucus won't matter.  ((Heat doesn't denature these amantia like it does psilocybin))

correct, it actually converts the ibotenic acid into muscimol threw decarboxylization. so heating actually makes it more psychedelic.

I was going to buy the extract, but I couldn't find a dosage table for it.  I could only find a dosage table for the dried caps, so I bought those instead.  Happen to know how much 15x extract I would need? If so, I could check out my headshop instead of ordering online.
