As long as it delivers on its premise it will be. Sometimes movies like that have potential but they don't explore the idea enough and it just ends up being a monster movie.

Scary movies never scare me. Ghost stories never scare me. Alien abduction movies make me cower like a little kid afraid of monsters in his closet. Even the movie signs brought tears to my eyes and i couldn't move i was so scared lol. I have my reasons.
