Primordia already???
    #1137624 - 12/13/02 07:16 AM (13 years, 11 months ago)

If a cake was birthed four days ago and now there are some tiny white bumps forming, is it possible that these are primordia already or just weird mycelial growth? Thanks.

I've had tiny little shrooms four days after birthing, so yes, those are mushrooms growing

Primordia normally form as small round bumps the size of a pinhead and grow a cap as they get bigger. Don't mistake fluffy areas of mycelium as primordia.

trancefishy and theinvisibleman...thanks for the replies! I'm hoping it isn't just fluffy mycelium, but I think it isn't because the bumps are pretty small and round.
