Outdoor patch of cubes under a bush!

Hi all, heres one of my growing experiences id like to share..
I dug a hole about yay big. I pasteurized some horse poo/straw and mixed it with some tx cube spawn. Filled the hole and watered it from time to time.
The cake i used was unusual. It had some sorta mycelium bulge thing sprouting from it, but users on the board urged me to use it. The species is a wild cube collected from the pasture.
So i filled this hole and I'm pretty sure this is where i ran into poison ivy.. is this potion ivy guys? Is there potion ivy in the background of some of my pics!? cause i think there is. I got a hell of rash from it!
Its been maybe 2 or 3 weeks since i put this together and we've had alota of rain here in Houston. I went to check it today and it looks like this!!
aww. look at the little warts. Doesnt it look just like mommy and daddy?
They looked as if they needed to be fed so i went ahead and poured water on it to help the flush. Im so excited that it worked. Im inspired to try this with many species of mushroom including Pans and Azures. I could kinda in a sense make my own artifical shroom field. That be so bad ass. I love growing mushroms..

i got that rash before, never screw a girl while you're hiking thru woods.... fucked my shit up for a good while. i think i spent 40% of everyday in the shower running fire water over my shit cause it made it feel better, even though that just fucked me over more. I learned my lesson with that shit....

That is poison Ivy in your far left pic of your arms.Be cautious eating those shrooms in close proximity to that crap.I would say that poison ivy in the throat could be a really bad trip.If you pull it out don't burn it either.GL

Volatile oils in the leaves vaporize and you breathe them in. Causes swelling of the throat, possible pneumonia or respiratory failure.

Poison Ivy, Poison Oak, it's a Toxicodendron species, and you should know better than to get anywhere near it. It was just getting its revenge for you digging up its root system. Oh yeah, and its *REALLY* hateful if you burn it. People can die of suffocation on swelling from its volatiles.
On the plus side, the mushrooms are gorgeous.

Exactly what I was thinking plus the rash looks more like Poison Oak. In any case losfreddy; you should see a Doctor.
Nice outdoor grow but be very cautious of eating those if there in the vicinity of the Poison Oak!

Once harvested a quick soak in some H2O2 before drying might take care of any oils on the surface. I'm not sure if mushrooms would soak up the toxins. For that matter, as long as the mushies are not in direct contact with the poison oak/ivy/sumac there is virtually no chance that they oils got on them in the first place.

The thing I would be worried about is a bug or animal coming in contact with the ivy then your shrooms.I don't get ivy but I get a few spots from oak lived in the country until I was 18 that is Ivy seen it thousands of times.
