You really should patch the casings where the mycelium is growing through. That will be the first place pins will form, judging by that casing, the pinning will be very uneven.

Yeah, just put a little casing soil on most heavily colonized parts, you'll make a nice flush of it
Anyway, I noticed that if your casing is very even you'll have a very dense first flush, followed by little or no next flushes; if it's uneven you'll get more flushes of more variable sizes. At the end of the story each substrate will put out all his energies till possible, this means equally comparable harvests.

Whats up with the discoloration in the second pic? Is it just the pic, or does it really look rusty on your casing? Please tell me if I'm going blind.

It's really hard to tell by that photo. It looks kinda funky but may be mycelium piss. Just can't really tell from photo. How does it smell?

hmmm, it looks almost reddish to me. If so, I don't think that's mycelium piss, at least I've never seen red mycelium piss. I don't know man, all I know is it doesn't look good, at least not to me, but what do I know?

Does it Kinda look like this?
In life.. the mycelium is bright white, and the water droplets being secreted look pretty dark orange. It's a GT cake, still in the jar. It formed these odd lumps and then started either collecting water there or secreted it. Never happend to me before.
Sorry, for my non revelance and blabbering.

I had a bad run in of what it looks like u got. If u have it that is. I had a maure/humus compost (doesnt work, dont try it) that had healthy spots of bright white mycel, which I see on yours. And some kind of wispy growth encircleing the heavy white, which I also see on yours. Growth was slow, and by the time the contam got a hold there was nothing to do but toss it.
This is not nessisarily what u have. It could just be the way the mycel is colo'ing the casing material. Or the strain, Cyan growth can look like cobweb @ times for its wispy thin mycel growth. Not like cubes where it is all ropey and tight.
I hope u have a healthy case that will fruit an ounce. =) I just cringed when I saw the pic's in rememberance of "what was". So I thought I would put my 2 cents in.

Is it liquid or mold? I can't tell from the pic, I really don't want to scare you, it just looked a little odd and I thought I'd ask.

Well if its liquid then I agree, I think its just piss. Sorry but from the pics it was hard to tell if it was liquid or a red mold.
