I remember reading a post Just a few days ago where someone found a nice deal with good shipping rates for coir... he/she even posted pictures of all the coir bricks sitting together on a chair or something.

I can't remember what they typed in for the title, or what forum they posted it in... I've been looking through posts but I can't find it... so if you know or are that person... I'd like to find out where you/they ordered it from.

I just ordered a bunch of coir like 3 days ago for $1.32 per brick, with pretty reasonable shipping costs:

Yeah, with shipping you'll probably wind up paying about the same ($2-$3ish) at that link.  The funny thing is, its always the same brand - eco whatever, but all the vendors price it differently.

Froogle is your friend.

Just checked what it would be for 12 bricks... shipping was $15


Doctors Foster & Smith is excellent.  5.99 flat rate shipping and they have many other things used for this hobby.

depends what you want.

heaters , air pumps, tubing, air stones, reptile misters, ph test strips, lighting, timers, a whole bunch of stuff..
