So help me out guys.

I've stopped shampooing my hair regularly.  I'll only shampoo it like once every 4-5 days because I feel like I'm supposed to do it for a reason.  But am I? :sherlock:

Whenever I do, all day I'll have a dandruff problem (I normally don't), and I'll breakout with little pimply things scattered over my scalp.  Should I stop shampooing altogether or just change shampoos?

I'm using pert plus dandruff control.

Let that which doesn't matter truly not matter.

Shampooing is part of standard scalp and hair cleansing, but people wash it at their own pace.

Dandruff can be fought dramatically by simply applying skin lotion (aveena or another brand of your desire) to the scalp.

Also use conditioner after shampooing.

If you use shampoo and you have a normal head of hair I wouldn't apply more than a dime's size in your palm, and I wouldn't scrub it too hard or keep it in long at all.

Also, workout a few times each week and get some cardio in. It will help your skin purify itself.

I just shampoo'd for the first time in a bunch of years, and it made my face breakout.

If you stop, or reduce the amount of shampooing you do, your hair will be greasy for awhile but eventually your body will regulate and you wont have a problem with the grease.

shampoo and conditioners are poisonous chemicals. Look at the ingredients. Just rub your hair made wet with water with your hands and that will clean it.
