those are the normal western red variety [what is, or was called flavivolvata].

they just tend to fade with age and too much water.

so i am correct? Amanita muscaria.  The shaggy rings and vials all seam to be correct for this mushroom

well, strictly speaking, Amanita amerimuscaria seems to be the accepted taxon for out north american fly agarics, but you're as close as matters.
