    #11364804 - 11/01/09 09:24 PM (8 years, 10 months ago)

Habitat:
They were growing on some wood chips mixed with dirt in a local park
in Seattle

Gills:
Gills are light brownish/grayish.  Half the gills are attached and half are not

Stem:
Length: 1/2 an inch to an inch and a half, diameter; skinny, color; white, texture; stringy, hollow/solid: i think hollow but not sure, thin/thick; relatively thin, etc.

Cap:
Diameter; varies, color; brown(turning whitish with age), texture; not too hardy but not to fragile(actually, a bit fragile)

Spore print color:
dark purple

Bruising:
none

Other information:
that's pretty much it;  I took a small bite out of one and it tasted kinda Cyans.  thanks for the help.

You are definitely going to hear this more than once... but you should NEVER eat a mushroom that you are unsure of:thumbdown:

I have a feeling these aren't active, but its closest looking thing to an active I've found so far.  Last year I found ounces and ounces of Cyans, but this year i haven't found a thing (maybe it's too early).  Is there anything else a guy from Seattle should be looking for at this time of year?
