growing in a human skull?
    #11362353 - 11/01/09 02:17 PM (8 years, 8 months ago)

how hard would it be? stuffing a skull with substrate and then letting it colonize, then fruit that skull. i suppose sterilizing it would be a feat...

Soak the skull in bleach water for a week or two. I don't even want to know how you're going to get this skull.

You could probably buy a nice replica skull made from acrylic or polycarbonate, and then just PC it.
A real one... meh. Dry skulls are safe, but a wet one seems like it would get nasty somehow.

you never put a fresh sand dollar or starfish in bleach? It makes it nice and white, and keeps ants from eating it...

My tattoo artist told me about one of his friends in Spain that collects human skulls from the old graveyards around there. You know, over time the elevation changes or the bodies somehow work their way up.

Either way, human or animal skull it would be pretty cool.

If you don't mind me borrowing the idea, I just might give it a shot. It'll be a switch from the stuffed bear.

If you can do a stuffed bear, I don't think you'll have a problem with a plastic skull.
